At a meeting held during the weekend of March 15, 2019 to discuss "New Schedule of
FIA Formula One World Championships " between FIA Federations, The European Championship decided they were in need of an international calendar, the idea of organizing a worldwide championship from Europe was already set during the time of the 2007 and 2009 European World Champions and therefore the 2016 World Championships, but the 2019 is considered a special event by its participants.
