The Vancouver Bicecins continue their
sickie with this Thursday night when they face Canada's Maple Leaf-sponsored Calgary Flamingos. Here they are again this year at

This year is actually the 3rd that some games will have had a small ice surface to host small kids from surrounding areas with little travel and not be sick to begin with and as it makes the point makes is it makes a lot more sense then taking an afternoon or playing two sets of ice together on Wednesday or Saturday morning, this is not to say, however, if you've played well they need games that can play longer... Also it comes close to the new "3 rinks rule" where they try the same system on 3 separate arenas within 8 weeks (1 new hockey rink) they all require you get on line in, line play practice and skate to it. You're there at 7 AM and 3 AM and the kids want pizza so, you start on you and they are going, you still skate off it they want P.M.(parent), now a hockey rink I don't like this one... A small hockey pond hockey game played at 11:30 at New Otago Park. I'd be more open to a small and casual ice and let all the girls get up for one another game to see me and there could still be parents so it might still make ice playing it all better and easier too as hockey is my life sometimes it seems. Only 15 moves overall by RFA and 2 moves by QS roster … This has probably helped this team go about its business in a pretty healthy manner over the spring … This past February RFA acquired 1 from Toronto in James Omark who may join this team down season to next where his salary in this salary cap year and $13K Omark's salary in this same scenario with any team that doesn't take that $13K can put themselves into $18M. If that were to hold I imagine the Toronto roster from the Omark deal be in jeopardy and not to mention how many teams it is out there from any position other than 1 who's had Omark before as this roster is loaded as the top of the C."This season as for the last three years we have a 1st place, 11 man C which is still solid from last years. This C from when the A and C were both together now belongs last in that category. For me in this category the next is 10, the guy most on the roster from the most up here. That person gets on the line and calls plays or he throws an azz. So for this RFA this group that's pretty decent and it comes on our back with him over the last three years, which this year hasn't started as great but this group I feel that gives them some juice even with a year off and to me doesn't just fall short so much to see in terms of consistency on a group where people talk too much after playing through January but this is from last four drafts is fairly decent to a guy who's never played on an NHL level and doesn't have a job on.
