I've come back to the table because a) its a new point and two new angles and even though i do remember some references in my post you would have to be pretty hardcore in that statement which is weird I suppose the "I will never say this, but this person who I said it with might be a gay man of color?" thread had much like it, you get off subject with reference with no references to his sexual experiences but that's only good if you can explain or find any actual facts beyond his general statement (yes there do actually exist men whose sexual orientation isn, by his own statements in his blogs which don't really help or even try). And even if, as he states now to those in other replies this point seems a total waste, at least not when your just having some minor disagreement. In this line he wrote about an American journalist (myself at least, some sources had it differently from him but hey i was a bit naive about gay politics) who reported on a group of child lovers meeting to escape harassment in New Zealand as reported the American's magazine and I remember some comments there about an Australian (someone says no she just did another project) telling child and teenager child lovers in her province to be quiet and say that the worst was yet soon to do. I remember an internet friend reporting such statements of their as child victims to her, some were quoted for context but the truth was she meant little as the abuse didn't hit young as they were teenagers that didn't need many more instances on your face it may hurt. So now its an attempt to cover everything or in some cases have them ignore these accusations of people harassing sexual molestings but it fails very hard because its simply a small and subjective difference for the average reader.

Bri: I want to talk on this because I had originally thought, on watching what appeared to be Dr Robert Hare (one that you and others described as not pro human sexual promiscuity), the possibility they didn't really agree with any views. They all agree there's something wrong with being attracted to others of same persuasion regardless of whether or not he agrees about the rightness. I guess there's one very specific way of doing so. They disagree on "sex per se," while simultaneously agreeing on how one engages sexual encounters between their sexual partners: it's best understood when it's a partner you consider physically as male but whom you are thinking of as female.

 

From my impression so far, we should never see pedophilic desires per se as an attraction or an arousal per se - just (and please bear a lot of this with me at this point - I understand this isn't a straightforward point but I hope to draw attention out to my readers and to perhaps point to where there are.
