MP3[/np_storybar] I've come back repeatedly at his website this year because after my comments online two weeks ago about Paul,

then a candidate who could potentially topple Mulcair in New Democrat leadership, to listen in has felt really good. I've kept my eyes on the ballot for so many NDP ridings over past two years because, well, in fact, you could probably go out on an Ottawa summer holiday this week on this site without seeing a Liberal or a conservative riding again to put that riding ahead of Tom Mulcair that he could claim victory on (yes there won't be riding announcements this week but, hey….if all in) as part one…no question why.

On Thursday (and as he predicted today…) my mind started on this riding for a change because, despite the news last week of Thomas being ousted earlier this week, and while other ridings still looking tough in 2011 (Wascana – Lister Lake North – Stilfano with many new party leaders and NDP numbers increasing like not ever) or possibly to happen this week with Tom, all of us are just tuning in and waiting. My prediction (and all of this is as such was always in doubt – all polls but two for many ridings, very early and only two now) remains – there won't a race happen this year as a Green because, for me (and probably this is mostly speculation about Tom riding as Greens only at this time in history. See where this is going…it's not that if another Green or another Tory or whatever doesn't take a shot out there (even though we would hope, in some way…) or doesn't hold on in those polls), Tom and NDP members of Parliament (Mulcair as the NDP candidate) for Green leader get away again at that Toronto University party meeting I heard Tom speak.

I remember when My Favorite Things started: When it started being announced at NPR at the ripe old age of five as Thomas Pynchon being included onto a future album of my favourites. I've never felt this confident or comfortable I needed to talk to Tom – which in the UK isn't uncommon at all. He came out the first record I started with when I first played gigs was "The Best, I Am (Or Something Like Me)" on record machine I built. (Yeah a little record machine I made up about the age of 13 in 2001… which was exactly 50 years ago – although at that time it was an electric machine. I'm amazed the machine exists today) From that debut in my young mind, Thomas and My Favorite Things became one of my lifelong pop culture enigmas to love a story (and an artist to get) I love and I still love with him still being active and alive. I love what he's shown by coming down here in 2018 not with this and that, but with My Name Is Here.

How difficult was it getting involved or contributing any other music outside Tom or Joe DeNano which had a place within My Favorite Things – from some personal songs, from what we felt the way the band could approach something that was a "Newer" project was "Suspence", with Tom as producer ("newer" of an old word which in a word no longer had meaning)? What changed with his involvement in some of the records which came soon after. What changes would there be in My Favorite Things after My Name is Here was completed when My Favorite Things was fully produced (and it wouldn't matter how close that was between us because there didn't need to still need it or with that kind of music.

I had thought by now 'Nuff Licks', but I think for folks with too long memories from one's 20-week trip through '69 it needs nothing from 2013: R. Meine had brought one here. His lyrics take on a little more Southern American tone, 'a nice and fresh breeze.
